Why a heritage drop, and why now

The VOX Magnesium Aluminium Voyage Box was designed by Marcus's mother — her own line, made after years of selling somebody else's, and then set aside when family circumstances intervened.

This drop is the first time it goes out under a brand of its own.

The first 400 units carry a number plate from 1/400 to 400/400, a founders' price (S$549 vs S$690 retail), and a place at the start of something that came very close to never happening at all.

We're not selling them this way forever. Once the 400 are allocated, the next production run launches at full retail under standard Vox Journey branding. The numbered plates won't come back. The founders' price won't come back. This is a one-time drop.

How allocation works

1. Join the founders' list (email signup).
2. When allocation opens, founders' list members get a 48-hour exclusive window.
3. Numbers are assigned in order of completed purchase — earlier purchases get lower numbers.
4. After 48 hours, any remaining numbers open to the general public at S$549 until sold out.
5. Once gone, the page closes and the next production run begins at retail.

About the magnesium aluminium material

Magnesium aluminium alloy is the premium luggage material category — used by Tumi (the 19 Degree line, S$1,400–2,000), Rimowa (the Original line, S$1,600–3,000), and Globe-Trotter. It's denser than polycarbonate, dent-shows beautifully over time (some travellers consider this a feature; others don't), and has a hardware-tool feel that no plastic shell replicates.

The VOX Magnesium Aluminium Voyage Box uses the same material class at S$690 retail and S$549 founders' price. The difference isn't in the alloy — it's in the brand premium we choose not to charge.
